Make better Guacamole for Cinco de Mayo..........

"Cinco de Mayo is a guacamole-and-chips holiday. That is, the holiday, like the ubiquitous appetizer, is more of an American thing than a Mexican one. Most Mexicans (save those in the state of Puebla) treat the occasion as a blip on the calendar, just as most don't gather round guacamole with fried tortilla triangles at the ready. But Americans, heck, we'll take any excuse to eat the stuff, which is indeed lovely with chips, but also tucked inside warm tortillas, mixed into rice or soup, or spooned onto grilled anything (fish, chicken, steak)."
Check out what to do better by going to Bon Appetit.

Outhouse............

Viewing a vacant older home today and came upon what I thought was small storage shed at first in the rear yard.

Car wash for folding chairs.............

With Main Events renting thousands of folding chairs per month, you have to keep them in good shape and ready for your next customer. Yesterday while nibbing in their warehouse I came across this piece of equipment that includes rinser, scrubber and a blow dryer. Click here to check out what else Main Events has to offer.

After my viewing of the facility, I now know where to rent cotton candy machines as well as snow-cones machines, Tiki bars, diamond chrome plated bars, six foot talk champagne fountains, 400 square feet play houses, all kind of wedding decorations and more.

Tim's cocktail napkins................

Tim Fitterer added this message in a recent text: "I still use cocktale napkins. They are out of fashion -- and the ones left over from my father's bar are way out of fashion--but i like them and still use them. They remind me of a better time. A time when people could laugh at a joke without worry."
