Single shoe sighting......................
This photo was sent to me by Jim Weisent during his travels on Monday evening near North 21st St. & Price Road. Having a hard time telling, but if the cup lid to the left is a a jumbo lid, this should be about a lady's size 6.

Exploring Dave Hardy's watch bands................
Some teasing once in a while, but when Dave Hardy is in a meeting most people will take a swift glance to see if Dave coordinated his ribbon watch band with his neck tie for the day.

Make better Guacamole for Cinco de Mayo..........
"Cinco de Mayo is a guacamole-and-chips holiday. That is, the holiday, like the ubiquitous appetizer, is more of an American thing than a Mexican one. Most Mexicans (save those in the state of Puebla) treat the occasion as a blip on the calendar, just as most don't gather round guacamole with fried tortilla triangles at the ready. But Americans, heck, we'll take any excuse to eat the stuff, which is indeed lovely with chips, but also tucked inside warm tortillas, mixed into rice or soup, or spooned onto grilled anything (fish, chicken, steak)."

Car wash for folding chairs.............
With Main Events renting thousands of folding chairs per month, you have to keep them in good shape and ready for your next customer. Yesterday while nibbing in their warehouse I came across this piece of equipment that includes rinser, scrubber and a blow dryer. Click here to check out what else Main Events has to offer.
After my viewing of the facility, I now know where to rent cotton candy machines as well as snow-cones machines, Tiki bars, diamond chrome plated bars, six foot talk champagne fountains, 400 square feet play houses, all kind of wedding decorations and more.

Tim's cocktail napkins................
Tim Fitterer added this message in a recent text: "I still use cocktale napkins. They are out of fashion -- and the ones left over from my father's bar are way out of fashion--but i like them and still use them. They remind me of a better time. A time when people could laugh at a joke without worry."

Just in time for St. Patrick's Day..........
In time for your St. Patrick's Day celebration this Saturday, may we suggest an upgrade? Here's how to make your own version at home, from just mint ice cream, Oreos, and whipped cream. And several shots of Jameson. You're welcome. [via CNN Eatocracy] Monday, January 30, 2012

Licking County TweetUp at Velvet Ice Cream....

Last Thursday, I attended what I would consider one of my top three social events of 2011. On my way home, several photos in my phone I kept thinking about the great blog post I could write.
Master blogger and good friend Sean Carpenter the next morning posted what I consider a masterpiece of reporting the event.
Great job to @VelvetIceCream for being such a great host and @seancarp for your blog.
